February Update & Annual Meeting Notice

Greetings Jupiter Reef Club Owners,

Please see the below notice for the Annual Owners meeting and Election. This notice has been mailed to you via USPS. Preparation for our Annual meeting marks the approaching ending of the 2020-2021 fiscal year. Read below for a synopsis of ongoing association business.

The property is looking great! The new upper patio deck and railing has improved the aesthetic to the greatest level of elegance. The replacement patio railing is solid aluminum with horizontal stainless-steel cabling. This railing provides such a pristine view, a few owners have inspected it on the webcam and contacted the office to inquire if it is a glass railing.

Newly constructed patio areas provide plenty of privacy for guests to enjoy the scenic ocean views.

Landscaping improvements are in progress. The updated landscaping includes Green Island Ficus shrubs, Silver Buttonwoods, and decorative white chip marble rock.

A replacement outdoor kitchen for the three gas BBQ grills was constructed in November. The new grill area with granite countertop adds a luxurious yet practical touch to our casual patio side.

The critical South parking lot seawall construction commenced on January 4th, 2021 and is expected to be completed in the near term. 127 feet of sheet pile is being installed with a reinforced concrete cap.

The North parking lot seawall was completed this past October and the main Seawall was completed in December. Each seawall was constructed and designed to maintain the minimal amount of eastward encroachment while providing the maximum amount of coastal armoring.

Two major beach renourishment projects are taking place on both sides of JRC. The shore protection project to the South is restoring 969,000 cubic yards of sand. The nourishment project to the North will bring 210,000 cubic yards of sand to the Southern boundary of Carlin park. Both projects are estimated to indirectly improve JRC’s sand elevation. Looking ahead, much needed dune renourishment directly adjacent to JRC is being planned by Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management for November this year.

Due to the pandemic occupancy has been down this fiscal year. However, the percentage of occupied units is steadily increasing throughout this high season.

Currently twelve unit/weeks are sale pending. See the below list of Association owned resales.

All resales can be viewed on the JRC sales page at www.jupiterreefclub.org/main/sales.

Safety of all guests remains at the forefront of JRC operations. As many owners and visitors have reported success in becoming vaccinated against COVID19 we will not let our guard down when it comes to cleanliness. JRC follows all CDC cleaning guidelines for hotels. Sanitization of all units and common areas has become second nature. An electrostatic sprayer is used with an atomized EPA registered disinfectant to eliminate all virus causing germs.

Thank you for being an informed Jupiter Reef Club owner! As always, never hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
